The main colours used in this poster are different shades of oranges and white. The colours are very effective as they represent the colours of a basketball. Even though orange is the main colour that stands out in the poster there are other colours such as brown, blue and black, they don't get lost within the poster. The titles are in black and white which stand out from the orange and are in a very basic font. From the poster you can only see one actors name suggesting that 'Samuel L Jackson' is the main actor within the movie. This is the main focal point of the poster as 'Samuel L Jackson' is a big Hollywood actor and fans of him would be interested to see this film. The images in the middle ground are to show that the people are running in motion which is more effective as if the characters were in focus it wouldn't look as realistic. 'Samuel L Jackson' stance very stern and looking into the distance with his foot on the ball this shows that he has control over the basketball which is significant because 'Samuel L Jackson' plays a coach in the movie. At the bottom of the poster there are small images to give the audience more of an insight into the film and show the other genres of the film. As we can also see from the images there are female characters which may suggest they play a love interest suggesting a hybrid genre of romance. The audience for this film is possibly male adolescents as they may find this movie appealing due to the sport as its played by many young adults and also people interested in basketball.

The main colours used in this poster are browns, reds and black. The poster is very simplistic and consist of one main image. The colours work effectively as they aren't vibrant. The red in the poster which is used for the title suggest some sort of danger or pain, as the film is a boxing biopic based on Muhammed Ali. The main focal point of the poster is an image of Will Smith almost as if he is in a boxing ring ready to fight as he is wearing a boxing glove and mouth guard. Will Smith is a well known actor in Hollywood and his name stands out upon the dark background. This is effective as fans of Will Smith may want to watch the film. There is not much lighting placed on Will Smith who plays Muhammed Ali suggesting there is some mystery and untold information about Ali's life that people may not know. However the shinning lights in the background which connotates the fame as Ali was a big successful boxer. The titles are effective as they are in bold and stand out from the rest of the poster. 'Ali' also a very significant title as its short and simple but effective as its in red block letters which is easily remembered. The target audience of this film is quite restricted as it is targeted at fans of Muahmmed Ali and or fans of boxing.

In this poster there is a space theme to link in with the title. The title is in the Looney Tunes logo and stands out from the poster which is useful as its very memorable. The main focal point of the poster are the two characters suggesting they are the main characters of the movie. The images or very effective as we only see half of the characters faces suggesting there is some sort of significant link between the characters. Michael Jordan is a NBA player which targets a fan base of the sport and of himself also Bugs Bunny is a loved cartoon character favoured by children and adults which also helps to target a large audience of people. The combination of theses characters and the theme of space suggest a hybrid of genres such as sports, family, sci-fi and animation which is used to appeal to a wide audience. The titles are in white which help to be distinguished from the dark background. The style of this poster is an idea of what we have in mind as we want our two characters who play Victor, faces to be either side of the poster to show the connection between them.

As it may suggest it took many days and nights for the main character to become a professional basketball player. There is almost a hazy look on the poster which also connotates with the word 'dreams'. The main focal point of the poster is the character whose is in a still playing basketball.
